Alaska Bound!

The decision was made shortly after my first entry but, true to form, I haven't visited the blog since. In early January I went to a Roadtrek Rally in Indio and had the opportunity to get to know some others with neat little vehicles like mine. A number of people I talked to have been to Alaska and urged me to go.

In Mid January I had rotator cuff surgery...it's hard but all you have to do is follow your doctors instructions. Six weeks in a sling and no driving. Thank goodness for good friends and my son David. Eating, bathing, transportation to physical therapy, ice packs, entertainment... they provided it all. About all I could do was handle the TV remote. I did learn to eat with my left hand pretty well.
Three months later my shoulder is doing fine even though it still gets tired quickly. My range of motion is good and I'm getting stronger.
