We arrived in Bodrum about a quarter of seven... too late to returnn the rental car. The roads are one way and very small. We tried without success to find our hotel. Finally figured out that we had to go to the north end of town and then follow the angled road down to Ataturk Blvd and then turn left to reach the hotel. We arrived at Ataturk to find that turning left was not practable since it had been turned into a pedestrian mall.
Frustrated, we found the auto rental which, as expected, was closed. BUT... the shop owner across the street called the auto guy and he was there within ten minutes.
How grateful we were that he took us across town and dropped us only a few blocks from our hotel.
More hotel info later... our room was small but clean and the folks were pleasant. It cost about half as much as the one our friends stayed in.
